I always love it when I find out about a location that’s right on my doorstep. Bournemouth doesn’t really lend itself well to Urban Exploring so this was a pleasant surprise. I can’t offer much info on this place but there’s probably about 12 Fire Engines left now. The images on Google Earth shows more like 20 so some have obviously been removed. Some of these engines date back to the 1940’s but are all in pretty bad shape now. The metal thieves have stripped anything metal they can get their hands on and the rest are just trashed. Still, it was a good way to spent a couple of hours with my friend Damian taking a few photo’s.
